Abuja, 16th August 2023 - The Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) Samaru, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Shehu Garki Ado, a renowned figure in the field of agricultural research, as the new Chairman of the Technical Sub-Committee of the National Variety Release Committee (NVRC) at the National Centre for Genetic Resources and Biotechnology (Nacgrab Fmst). The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated 3rd August 2023 by the National Biotechnology Development Agency (Nabda NG), under the Federal Ministry Of Science And Technology, Abuja, Nigeria.
