IAR Shines at the National Agricultural Mechanization & Innovation Summit (NAMIS’25), Kano
Today, 30th December 2025, the Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) proudly participated in the National Agricultural Mechanization & Innovation Summit (NAMIS’25) held at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano.
The summit was organized by CONESAM and Adam Smith International, in collaboration with the Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN) and KANINVEST, bringing together key stakeholders committed to transforming Nigeria’s agricultural landscape through innovation and mechanization.
IAR mounted a vibrant exhibition pavilion that attracted immense attention and engagement from participants and visitors across the agricultural sector. At our stand, we showcased cutting-edge innovations including:

These technologies reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting farmers, boosting productivity, and strengthening national food security through research-driven solutions.
We were also honoured by the visit of the Executive Secretary of ARCN, Tpl. Dr. Abubakar Adamu Dabban, who toured the IAR pavilion and interacted with our team. He was warmly received by Prof. A. I. Sharifai, Assistant Director Extension, Monitoring & Evaluation, who highlighted IAR’s contributions to agricultural development across the country.
