The momentum at the
National Agricultural Show continued today as the Institute for Agricultural
Research (IAR) welcomed an impressive stream of delegates from various states,
institutions, and agricultural organizations to its pavilion. The growing
interest reflects the impact and relevance of IAR’s innovative technologies in
shaping Nigeria’s agricultural future.
The presence of the
Assistant Director, Extension, Monitoring and Evaluation, Prof. A. I. Sharifai,
added a major highlight to the day. Visitors were visibly excited as he shared

farmer-focused innovations. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the

development, the Institute welcomed AGRICASTS, represented by Mr. Gbolahan
Oshonubi, as a new potential partner. AGRICASTS operates a toll-free helpline
(08000024742) available to farmers across Nigeria-offering instant agricultural
advice in major Nigerian languages, free of charge.
This collaboration
presents an exciting platform to ensure farmers receive timely, trusted, and
accessible information.
